MAGNUM CAD/CAM discs are available in standard diameters (98mm, 95mm) compatible with major milling systems on the market (Zirkonzahn, Amann Girrbach, Roland, Imes-Icore, Datron and others). Discs are available in Grade 2 and Grade 5 titanium, chrome-cobalt, PMMA and wax, with varying heights to suit different production needs.

What is the difference between CoCr alloys and titanium for dental prosthetics?

Chrome-cobalt (CoCr) alloys offer excellent mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and cost-effectiveness for frameworks and partial dentures. Titanium provides superior biocompatibility and is lighter but more challenging to cast. Zirconia offers the best aesthetics but is limited to CAD/CAM fabrication. Mesa Italia provides all three material options in the MAGNUM line, allowing laboratories to choose the optimal material for each clinical case.
