WHY THIS PRODUCT

The Multi-Unit System IGEA is a modern multi-prosthetic system designed to create screw-retained bridges, screw-retained bars, Toronto Bridge, All-on-Four and All-on-Six. It is Mesa Italia’s answer to multiple implant rehabilitations, where managing the disparallelism between implants and achieving passive-fit become decisive for long-term clinical success.

The variety, precision and versatility of the IGEA screw-retained prosthetic components allow simple, immediate and effective correction of the disparallelism between the various implants, for a tension-free insertion (passive-fit) of the prosthesis. The system covers the entire workflow: from the precision transfer to the angled abutment, from the connection cylinder to the prosthetic screw, up to the positioning accessories.

Available for Narrow (M1.6), Regular (M2) platforms and Multi-Unit (M1.4) prosthetic connection, with angled abutments at 0°, 17° and 30° in Hex A and Hex B variants for maximum clinical flexibility.

WHO IT’S FOR

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When to use the Multi-Unit System?
The Multi-Unit System IGEA is indicated for multiple screw-retained rehabilitations: screw-retained bridges, screw-retained bars, Toronto Bridge, All-on-Four and All-on-Six. It is particularly useful when it is necessary to correct the disparallelism between angled implants (with 17° and 30° abutments) and ensure the passive-fit of the prosthesis.
What angulations are available for Multi-Unit abutments?
Multi-Unit IGEA abutments are available in three angulations: (Narrow and Regular, H1 heights 1.5/2.5/3.5 mm), 17° (Hex A and Hex B, heights 2.5/3.5 mm) and 30° (Hex A and Hex B, heights 3.5/4.5 mm). All with D 4.8 mm diameter.
What is the torque for Multi-Unit abutments?
The insertion torque for Multi-Unit abutments in Titanium Grade 23 is 30 Ncm. For the Multi-Unit cylinder (CEM-1206 Titanium / OCA-1207 Co-Cr) the torque is 15 Ncm. Always respect the indicated values to ensure correct positioning and passive-fit.
What is the Multi-Unit cylinder?
The Multi-Unit cylinder is the component that screws onto the Multi-Unit abutment to create the screw-retained prosthesis. It is available in two materials: Titanium (CEM-1206) and Cobalt-Chromium (OCA-1207), both with L 12 mm and D 3.3 mm. The paired prosthetic screw is SCR-1404 (M1.4), with torque 15 Ncm.
Which screws to use for the Multi-Unit?
The screws of the IGEA Multi-Unit system are distinguished by function: SCR-1402 (M1.6) for Narrow abutments and SCR-1403 (M2) for Regular abutments; SCR-1404 (M1.4) for the MU cylinder, healing caps and Scan-Abutment. For transfers: SCR-1407 / SCR-1415 (open, M1.4) and SCR-1411 (closed, M1.4). For the MU analog: SCR-1412 (M1.6).
