OUR PRODUCTS, DENTAL ALLOYS

Our products are born from fifty years of experience gained by Mesa in the dental technology sector and from a constructive comparison developed over time with dentists. Entirely Made in Italy, at the Mesa Italia headquarters.

The raw material

Our alloys are born from selected raw materials and certified production processes. The supply chain is fully traceable and each batch is documented.

Cobalt-Chromium: the base of our most widespread alloys – combining stiffness, strength and biocompatibility.

Titanium Ti6Al4V: for applications requiring extreme lightness and bone affinity (see Q-Bar and Hyperone line).

Frequently asked questions about Mesa dental alloys

Which Mesa dental alloys are certified for the European market?

All Mesa dental alloys comply with directive 93/42/EEC and MDR regulation 2017/745, with CE 0425 marking. ISO 22674 certification classifies materials by type and clinical application. Mesa also holds ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and MDSAP for access to USA, Canada, Brazil and Australia markets.

What is the difference between casting alloys and CAD-CAM discs?

Casting alloys (MAGNUM CERAMIC CO/S, CLARUM, FULGENS, LUCENS, VIP-A, H50, H60, HBA, SATURNO) are supplied in ingots or bars for traditional casting technique. CAD-CAM discs (MAGNUM SOLARE, HYPERONE, SPLENDIDUM) are pre-fabricated cylindrical blocks (98,5mm format) optimised for digital milling, with homogeneous structure and tight dimensional tolerances.

Can I request samples of Mesa dental alloys?

Yes. Mesa offers samples for direct technical evaluation in the laboratory. The request can be submitted through the contact form or by contacting the local Area Manager. Samples are accompanied by a technical datasheet with chemical composition, mechanical properties and processing parameters.

Which CAD-CAM milling machines are compatible with MAGNUM discs?

MAGNUM discs (98,5mm format) are compatible with the main dental metal milling machines: Roland, vhf, DGSHAPE, Imes-Icore, Yenadent. Compatibility with dry and wet milling depends on the specific model: MAGNUM SOLARE supports both configurations.

Do Mesa alloys contain nickel?

The MAGNUM line includes Ni-Free alloys (MAGNUM CERAMIC CO, MAGNUM HYPERONE) specifically formulated for patients with nickel sensitivity. The technical sheets explicitly indicate the absence of Ni, Co, Cr where applicable. For patients allergic to Ni/Co/Cr, Mesa recommends the use of titanium-based or certified Ni-Free alloys.
