Which milling machines is MAGNUM SPLENDIDUM compatible with?
Standard 98,5 mm format compatible with Roland (DWX), vhf (S/K/Z), DGSHAPE, Imes-Icore (CORiTEC), Yenadent (D40), Wieland (Zenotec), Amann Girrbach (Ceramill), and others.
Which milling strategies are recommended?
Both dry and wet are supported. For high volume we recommend wet (longer-lasting burs, lower thermal stress). For small labs, dry is perfect. Mesa provides guidelines on request.
How is ceramic application performed on MAGNUM SPLENDIDUM?
It supports standard ceramic application with specific protocols. CET 14,2-14,5 × 10⁻⁶ K⁻¹ compatible with most dental porcelains. Specific protocols available on technical request to Mesa.
For which types of restoration is it indicated?
Single crowns, bridges on natural teeth, screw-retained crowns on implants, bridges on implants, structures for screw-retained prostheses. Biocompatibility ISO 22674 Type 4.
Advantage over Ti6Al4V CAD-CAM?
Ti6Al4V preferable for reduced weight or absence of nickel. CoCr has superior hardness (255 vs 350 HV), better precision post-milling, lower management costs (carbide burs vs specific Ti burs). For choice between Ti and CoCr, contact Mesa support.
